During the month of September, you can "flock a friend" for $30 here on JBLM and nearby communities. This gets you 30 flamingos placed strategically in the front yard by our flocking team. After the flock has hung out for 24 hours the team will retrieve the flock and move them on to a new location. This year, on post locations are limited to housing areas. Off post locations are subject to flocking team availability.
Anti-flocking Insurance can be purchased for $30 to protect you from having a flock land in your yard.
Once we review and approve your request for a flock, we will send you an invoice. The flock will only be released once the payment is received on our schedule. We will try our best to release the flock as soon as we can.
Our Why?
Like any youth activity, scouting can be expensive, and our fees have been increasing every year. Our goal with this fundraiser is to cut costs for our JBLM scout families by being able to provide scholarships for some of their fees. We want all youth to have the ability to scout if they want to and not have money be the reason that holds them back. No Scout Left Behind!
